Dr. Chris C. Pinney is a graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and has over 35 years of experience as a small animal clinician and surgeon.
He's the author of nine books pertaining to pet health care and has appeared on a variety of radio talk shows and television programs, including his own Eye On Pets Newsmagazine and Animal Planet.
His novel, Mongol Steel, is described as a "gripping adventure" by New YorkTimes/USA Today bestselling author James Rollins.
When not writing or caring for pets, Dr. Pinney spends his time with his family and enjoys hobbies that include backpacking, jogging, and history travel.
His son, Dr. Hunter B. Pinney, is a 2018 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Hunter's hobbies include cars, fitness, and business.
